Important in cases:
- If you cannot cross th-e valve
- Inappropiate sizing
- Problems with th valve after it has left the sheath
Here you can see the key new differences between MyVal and MyVal Octacor.
Two identical octagonal rows to ensure uniform expansion and guarantee stability during deployment. Less valve shortening = Greater stability.
Specific positioning marker ensures a more precise implantation.
Improved pushability without compromising catheter flexibility
This design helps reduce paravalvular leakage (PVL) to a minimum.
Includes the Commissural Alignment technique with RO markers on the valve commissures to ensure proper alignment.
Designed to prevent coronary obstruction and ensure re-accessibility if required
Designed to prevent aortic regurgitation.
Located at the stent intersections, these reinforcements enhance stability and increase radial strength.
Internal: Designed to prevent aortic regurgitation and enhance fatigue resistance.
External: Minimizes paravalvular leakage (PVL).
Asymmetrical octagon geometry minimizes shortening after implantation, making it safer and more stable.
Anti-calcification treatment applied to the valve leaflets.
Expandable introducer sheath Python-14Fr
The sheath temporarily expands to allow the passage of the crimped Myval balloon catheter.
Two calibrated and independently aligned loading tubes ensure controlled, temporary opening of the haemostatic valves at the proximal hub, enabling smooth, atraumatic advancement of the crimped Myval Transcatheter Heart Valve (THV) system.
Navigator THV Delivery System
The Navigator delivery system incorporates proximal and distal stoppers designed to ensure precise and secure valve crimping.
These stoppers prevent inadvertent valve migration and ensure there is no risk of valve displacement (embolisation) during sheath entry or while advancing the loaded delivery system through the aorta.
Direct crimping of the Myval THV onto the balloon simplifies the TAVI delivery process, provides intuitive handling, and eliminates unnecessary procedural steps.
The crimping device provides precise sizing and secure fixation, ensuring that the valve is firmly attached to the delivery system. This is critical for a smooth and safe TAVR procedure, as an inadequately crimped or loosely secured valve may lead to complications such as valve dislodgement during advancement through the patient’s vasculature.
